Melbourne-born, LA-based producer Mild Minds unveils his debut album MOOD, via Foreign Family (ODESZA, RÜFÜS DU SOL) / Counter Records (Maribou State/ Tennyson). Aptly named MOOD, Mild Minds’ debut full-length arrives as a nine-track, lo-fi dance masterwork, taking an introspective dive into the current state of international affairs. An experimental opus of genres and tempo, Mild Minds exquisitely mimics the intensity and fragility of human emotion, while firmly cementing his personal brand of ambient electronica. After receiving a Grammy nomination in 2020 for ford.'s remix of his debut single, Mild Minds found the adoration of Annie Mac and BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM's Chill, and Australia's Double J Radio.

Mild Minds is Benjamin David, the creative force behind several successful projects. Mild Minds came to life via an epiphany which led to him creating and experimenting outside his usual boundaries. SWIM, the project’s maiden EP, created a simultaneously danceable and introspective sound atop of melancholic melodies and lo-fi house influenced beats. Fans of Bonobo, Caribou, Four Tet will fill perfectly in their element listening to Mild Minds.

MOOD marks the follow-up to Mild Minds’ debut EP SWIM, which garnered a recent GRAMMY nomination for SWIM - ford. Remix”. David also recently performed at CRSSD Festival, a US tour with Tycho, and will join Big Wild, Bob Moses, and Crooked Colours on the stage of the fabled Red Rocks on August 21.
